The Olympics begin this weekend, with the opening ceremonies on Saturday and competition getting under way in 12 sports on Sunday. Throughout the Games, the Monitor will have on-scene coverage from Los Angeles by Phil Elderkin and Ross Atkin, plus commentary and analysis by Sports Editor Larry Eldridge and other staff members - all starting Friday with two full sports pages including a complete schedule and TV listing for the two weeks of competition from July 28 through August 12.
