Interest-rate concern tempers buyers' attitude on economy

Consumers are generally bullish on the economy but are concerned about interest rates, a survey shows. The latest Survey of Consumer Attitudes, released this week by the University of Michigan's Institute for Social Research , concludes that consumers are making more money and are ready to spend it - as long as interest rates do not go too high.
