UN official warns Guatemala on human rights violations

A UN human rights official has warned Guatemalan head of state Oscat Humberto Mejia Victores about continuing human rights violations in Guatemala. The official, Viscount Colville de Culross, is on a Latin American tour that will also take him to Honduras and Mexico.

The Mexico-based Guatemalan Human Rights Commission has said 2,200 people disappeared or were killed in the first four months of the year.
