Israeli warplanes attack Bekaa Valley rebel base

Israeli Air Force planes attacked a Palestinian guerrilla base in eastern Lebanon's Bekaa Valley Thursday, the Israeli military command said. The target was a regional command post from which guerrillas staged attacks on Israeli forces. The guerrilla base was used by the pro-Syrian breakaway Palestinian Liberation Organization faction commanded by Abu Moussa, Israeli military sources said. It was Israel's 13th air strike on Lebanon this year.
