Nicaraguan group at Vatican in an attempt to improve ties
A Nicaraguan government delegation arrived in Rome on Tuesday for meetings with Vatican officials in an an attempt to improve strained relations with the Roman Catholic Church.
Daniel Ortega, coordinator of the Sandinista junta, earlier said the group would not discuss the four priests who hold high-level government posts in defiance of Vatican instructions to resign.
