Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

Correction
Through an error in transmission, an article Wednesday about the opening of the UN General Assembly contained an inaccurate quotation by a nonaligned diplomat. It should have read: ''Both superpowers now stress mainly the bilateral approach, which allows them to flex their muscles more effectively. That leaves no room for UN-sponsored, middle-of-the-road compromise solutions.''
