Bush says Reagan, Mondale differ on plan for Soviet talks
Vice-President George Bush denied Monday that President Reagan was trying to copy Walter Mondale by proposing regular US-Soviet talks on a Cabinet level. ''Mondale's talking about annualized meetings between the general secretary of the Communist Party and the president,'' Mr. Bush said. ''There is a little difference between the Cabinet level and the general-secretary level.''
Bush's stop in this coal mine region was the first of a four-state campaign swing through Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
