Ferraro: time to act is now on arms race, ecology, rights
Assailing the Reagan administration for its failure to stop the arms race or provide equal opportunity for women and its support of covert activities in Central America, Geraldine Ferraro brought the Democratic presidential campaign to Massachusetts Wednesday. Addressing an outdoor rally at Boston's Government Center, she declared, ''Let's understand the world before we arm it. Let's have a president who sends in the diplomats before he sends in the Marines.''
