Graham says he sees easing of curbs on religion in USSR
Evangelist Billy Graham, back from 12 days of preaching in the Soviet Union, said Tuesday that the trend there seemed to be toward gradual easing of restraints on religion.
Asked if felt he might have been ''used'' by the Soviets, he said he was aware of that possibility before going but added emphatically: ''The risk was worth it for the cause of peace and for the cause of the gospel I preach.''
