Mine in Red Sea was made by Soviets, says London Times
A mine found Sept. 12 by a British minesweeper in the Red Sea was Soviet-made , the Sunday Times said. The paper added that British officials did not believe the Soviets laid the mine or even knew it had been planted in the Red Sea.
