Israel's Peres arrives for talks on US financial support
Israeli Prime Minister Shimon Peres arrived here Monday for three days of talks with American officials focusing on his country's serious economic problems and its desire to pull its troops out of Lebanon. He was accompanied by Foreign Minister Yitzhak Shamir, the former prime minister.
The Israeli leader is to meet with Secretary of State George Shultz, Vice President George Bush, and Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger as well as with the President.
