Italian Communist Party asks that foreign minister resign
The Italian Communist Party is calling for the resignation of Foreign Minister Giulio Andreotti because of his alleged connections with Michele Sindona, the former financier convicted of bank fraud.
The demand came Wednesday, six days after the Chamber of Deputies rejected a motion asking for Mr. Andreotti's resignation.
