Warsaw says ministry official to be charged in abduction
The government said Thursday it will charge an Interior Ministry official, identified only as Grzegorz P., in connection with the abduction on Oct. 19 of a pro-Solidarity priest, the Rev. Jerzy Popieluszko of Warsaw, whose whereabouts remain unknown. The Interior Ministry controls the nation's police and internal security.
