Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

Italian wins NY marathon
Orlando Pizzolato of Italy won the 15th New York City Marathon on Sunday. His official winning time was two hours, 14 minutes and 53 seconds. David Murphy of Britain finished second. Herbert Steffny of West Germany was third.
