Israel frees 3 Muslims; pullout talks to resume

Israel freed three captured Shi'ite Muslims yesterday, paving the way for resumption of troop-withdrawal talks with Lebanon. Prime Minister Rashid Karami said the talks would resume today.

A first session was held last Thursday, but Lebanon suspended the talks until four officials of the Shi'ite movement Amal were freed. The fourth is to be released today.
