Tehran says 4 skyjackers are to be tried in Iran
The four men who hijacked a Kuwaiti airliner to Tehran two weeks ago, killing two Americans and torturing two others, will be tried in Iran and will not be extradited to any other country, the Iranian public prosecutor said Tuesday. The four are to be tried in accordance with the penal law of the Islamic Republic of Iran. They are said to be Arabs, but their affiliation is unclear.
