Autumn in summer

It is the sudden rush of sun I remember leaves battling leaves A mood of quiet; and the snowfall The hillside is a drum And the rain beats its melody It is autumn as I listen To a lost bird returned And the freezing rain in February Soon the sunset gallops on my back And I shiver summer, and autumn too A secret that I cannot convey.
