Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

The opinion-page column ``Israeli Policy on Palestinians: a Dead End,'' Jan. 4, stated that both Arabs and Jews rejected the 1947 United Nations plan for the partition of Palestine. In fact, Zionists at that time welcomed the UN partition plan.
