Due to an editing error in a Jan. 24, Page 1 story about terrorists possibly connected with the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103, a reference to Iran was dropped, leaving the incorrect impression that the motivation for the bombing was linked to Syria or Israel. We regret this error.
