US, BRITAIN SIGN CUSTOMS PACT ON DRUG WAR

US Customs Commissioner William von Raab signed an agreement with Britain Wednesday to simplify procedures for exchanging information on drug trafficking, commercial fraud and other customs matters. A Customs spokesman said the deal ``provides a legal basis'' for cooperation that has been going on informally for years.
