MONEY OUTRANKS JOB SECURITY

Managers seeking jobs, many of whom have lost their positions as a result of mergers or corporate downsizing, are now ranking money as a primary goal rather than job security. That's the conclusion of a survey by Challenger, Gray & Christmas Inc. James Challenger, president of the outplacement firm, says many discharged managers, figuring job security is not available, figure they might as well seek high salaries instead.
