Continuing its crackdown on dissent, Kenya has banned The Nairobi Law Monthly, edited by leading government critic and lawyer Gitobu Imanyara. The last edition of the Law Monthly called for the dissolution of the Kenyan Parliament and cited recent public demands for political restructuring.
