YOUNG LISTENERS WANT WARNING OF DIRTY LYRICS

Asked if pre-recorded music should carry warning labels about its lyrics, 64 percent of 1,003 Americans aged 16 to 24 replied yes. Other findings by the Gallup poll for Fuji Photo Film U.S.A. include:

The average young adult listens to the equivalent of one full day (24 hours) of music during a week

Pop/rock was named by almost 40 percent of the respondents as their favorite type of music. Heavy metal and rap music tied for second place, each with 10 percent.
