`WORLD MONITOR' ANCHOR NAMED NEWSCASTER OF THE YEAR

John Hart, the TV anchor of ``World Monitor,'' recently won the National Academy of Cable Programming's l990 ACE Award for Newscaster of the year. The award was presented at the 12th-annual ACE Awards held in Beverly Hills, Calif. Mr. Hart, a former political correspondent for NBC News, joined ``World Monitor'' in l988. The show can be seen weeknights on the Discovery Channel.
