US TO UNVEIL SUPER HOOP SQUAD

The identity of a "dream team" of professional basketball stars selected to represent the United States in the Olympics will be announced during a live NBC Sports special presentation on Saturday, Sept. 21 (5-6 p.m., EDT).The 1992 Games in Barcelona mark the first time National Basketball Association players are eligible to compete in the Olympics. A committee of USA Basketball, the national governing body for the sport, has selected the players (without the usual tryout camp). Several college players will be added to the roster later.
