October: Twins defeat Atlanta Braves in the World Series in the 10th inning of the seventh and deciding game.

January 1992: Super Bowl XXVI pits Buffalo Bills against Washington Redskins at the Metrodome. (CBS, 5 p.m. Central Time, check local listings.)

April: NCAA Basketball Final Four championship in the Metrodome.
