Bobby McFerrin puts on his conducting hat again this spring in numerous guest appearances with orchestras:
April 3-4: Denver Symphony, Boettcher Concert Hall.
April 10-11: Dallas Symphony, Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center.
April 15-16: San Francisco, Great American Music Hall, McFerrin and Voicestra.
May 1: St. Louis Symphony, Powell Hall.
May 12: Seattle Symphony, Seattle Opera House.
May 16: Hudson Valley Symphony, Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
May 21-22: National Symphony, Washington, D.C., Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
May 30: San Francisco Symphony, Davies Symphony Hall, debut of McFerrin's work for six cellos and six voices.
June 12-13: Fort Worth (Texas) Symphony, Tarrant County Convention Center.
Other performances this summer include visits to Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Ann Arbor, Mich., New York, Cincinnati, and San Diego.
