EX-FED OFFICIAL NAMED TRUSTEE OF PUBLISHING SOCIETY

The Christian Science Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees of the Christian Science Publishing Society yesterday announced the appointment of Harry Schiering of Atlanta to the position of trustee.

Mr. Schiering is the former senior vice president and general auditor of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He was responsible for the Fed's internal auditing for the Sixth District, which covers the Southeastern United States. He has also served as a Federal Reserve assistant bank examiner. Schiering replaces Hal Friesen, who resigned his trusteeship as of April 15. He joins J. Anthony Periton and Hallock Davis on the three-member board, which oversees the publishing arm of the Christian Science Churc h.
