New Perspective

Like an artist who portrays his favorite model over and over in unending ways, I see you in a hundred different lights and never any two of them alike. Who you are I may not ever know. I only know what you are to me and even that image changes day by day. And yet, like Mir, the Catalan, viewing the Majorcan olive trees, trying to paint them till they drove him mad, I look at you from what seems to be another vantage point, another perspective - and guess again.
