Center Stage (VH-1, 2 p.m. ET): The premiere of this new live-performance series finds Michael Bolton offering selections from his recent album `Timeless (The Classics).' (The show will also air this summer on PBS - check local listings.)

Queen (CBS, 9-11 p.m.; also Tuesday and Thursday): Worthy three-part mini-series based on the life of `Roots' author Alex Haley's great-grandmother. (See preview in the Feb. 9 Monitor.) TUESDAY

For Our Children: the Concert (Disney Channel, 6 - 8 p.m.): This concert of children's music, designed for the family and held to benefit AIDS research, stars Paula Abdul, Michael Bolton, Ted Danson, Patti LaBelle, and others.
