Due to an editing error in a Jan. 12 article (Jan. 14-20 in the World Edition), the United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms was described as responsible for the April 19 raid that destroyed the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas. The raid was ordered by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
