POP/ROCK. Pink Floyd - The Division Bell (Columbia): Pink Floyd. isn't really Pink Floyd without the talents of Roger Waters, whose songwriting talents carried the group to their greatest heights. But it doesn't seem to matter to the fans; ``The Division Bell is currently the number No. 1 album in 13 countries. This release, their first studio recording in seven years, proves the point. It feels like a Pink Floyd album, it sounds like a Pink Floyd album. The only difference is it doesn't have the genuine melodies or hooks that informed their best work. Still, this beautifully engineered album provides many sonic pleasures and new songs for the group to perform on their current megatour, their first in five years.
