POP/ROCK. Green Day - Dookie (Reprise): Teen angst, the stock and. trade of many a rock band, can be pretty heavy stuff, but somehow Green Day makes it fun. At face value, the lyrics of this young punk band from Oakland, Calif. are dark and self-deprecating, as in the song ``Basket Case,'' where the chorus begins: ``Sometimes I give myself the creeps.'' It's antisocial but rather harmless; a look into the bored lives of the stay-at-home, fun-loving skateboard set. Listen for catchy, Cheap Trick-style harmonies and dense, rapid guitarwork.
