Around 1970, American rock groups rediscovered close harmonies, and groups such as Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, the Eagles, and America rode them through a string of Top 10 hits. Best known for "A Horse With No Name" (1972), "Sister Golden Hair" (1975), and "You Can Do Magic" (1982), America's early popularity has eluded them for years. Now founders Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell are back with their first album in 10 years. With bakup from friends such as Beach Boy Carl Wilson, the duo's earlier sound is intact, although this collection is quite eclectic.
