Collaborating with singer/bassist Me'Shell Ndege Ocello and producer Babyface, among others, Madonna has blended her voice with the talents of some of R&B's brightest musicmakers. What she lacks in lyrical complexity she makes up for in a groove that flows from track to track - creating a cohesive sound, with its roots seeming to come more from 1970s disco than today's hip-hop.
