The Boston Ballet Finishes Season With 'Taming of the Shrew'
Revelers in festive dress dance at fair Bianca's wedding in the ballet, which continues at Boston's Wang Center for the Performing Arts through May 21. Choreographed by the late John Cranko, the ballet tells Shakespeare's story of 'shrewish' Kate and bullying Petruchio, who eventually achieve a marriage of equals. The noteworthy costumes for this production were designed by Susan Benson.
