ABC's Wide World of Sports (ABC, 3:30-6 p.m. EDT): Little League baseball competition around the world culminates in South Williamsport, Pa., for the Little League World Series. ABC is televising the championship game live for the 33rd year.

The Tuskegee Airmen (HBO, 8-9:45 p.m. EDT): Hannibal Lee wants to serve as a United States combat fighter pilot in World War II, but his own country nearly blocks his way - because he is black. ''The Tuskegee Airmen'' tells the fact-based and inspiring story of the US Army Air Corps's 99th Squadron, the first squadron of African-American combat fighter pilots. Many familiar faces star in this made-for-HBO film: Laurence Fishburne (as Lee), Allen Payne, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Courtney Vance, Andre Braugher, Christopher McDonald, John Lithgow, and Cuba Gooding Jr.

Susan B. Anthony Slept Here (ABC, 10-11 p.m.): Landmarks across the United States celebrate the lives and achievements of women like Susan B. Anthony, Babe Didrikson Zaharias, and Christa McAuliffe. Lynn Sherr of ''20/20'' visits some of these places and profiles these women who have made a mark in history. Guest hosts contributing to the program include Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Brian Wilson: I Just Wasn't Made for These Times (Disney, 9-10:10 p.m.): The tremendous musical talent of Brian Wilson, charter member of the Beach Boys, shines through this documentary that features recent interviews with family, friends, and other professional musicians. Ten Wilson classics were recorded especially for the film, which is being aired during Disney's ''Free Fall Preview.''

Flight Over the Equator (Discovery, 9-11 p.m.): Visiting eight equatorial locations on three continents, this program is indeed a flight over the equator. Beautiful cinematography and an original world-music soundtrack illuminate topics such as the globalization of Singapore, the religious customs of the Toraja in Indonesia, and the wealth of Gabon in West Africa.
