Send Poems
send poems she said
I thought
how small a poem
really is
dark scratching
smoke captured
I thought of life
its shared tears
the red, ripe strawberries
waiting in real life
learning in life
to go slow enough
to hear the ones we love
be brave enough
to move ourselves
on on
I thought
a poem isn't life
a poem is easy
her eyes are life
pleading for more
asking only for
poems
