Monitor Calender Wins Award
| BOSTON
The Christian Science Monitor 1999 Calendar won the Best of Show award this year in a national calendar competition.
A panel of judges from the calendar and printing industries chose from more than 500 entries of all types of calendars in a contest sponsored by the Calendar Marketing Association, based in the United States.
The Monitor calendar also won the gold award in each of these categories: Best Nonprofit Calendar, Best Graphic Design, Most Original, and Best Theme.
The calendar's theme is the newspaper's 90th anniversary.
