New look for Monitor on the Web
The online edition of The Christian Science Monitor (http://www.csmonitor.com) is debuting a fresh new look on its home page today.
Advantages to the new design include:
*Putting the reader one click from almost every story in the day's edition.
*Making visually clear how many features and stories the site has to offer.
*Adding three new sections - Books, Travel, and About Kids.
*Increasing interactivity, including weather predictions which can be personalized for a reader's city.
We also are offering our first direct e-commerce option. After reading a Monitor book review, ordering the book itself is only a click away through a specially negotiated link to Barnes & Noble.
