Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

A squid race was one the events at a recent festival to promote the products of the northern Japanese prefecture of Aomori. About 200 live squids were transported almost 500 miles from Aomori to Tokyo for the races.
