Diesel-powered protest

An armada of truckers descended on The Mall in Washington Tuesday to protest the rising price of diesel fuel. Melva Moore, who came down from Baltimore in her husband's rig (left), said truckers' importance to the economy is often overlooked. 'The only thing not delivered by trucks are babies,' said Mrs. Moore.
