At high end, at least, US trails other nations

It's not unusual for Americans to feel pinched as it gets close to tax time. But if you're beginning to worry about your tax bracket, there may be reasons to be glad you don't live in some other lands.

A varying degree of government-provided services accounts in part for the discrepancy: Some countries offer more social benefits like government healthcare and pension plans.
