Venture capital keeps on flowing
Even with many dotcoms apparently on shaky ground, venture capitalists continue to pour financing into such start-ups.
Internet and technology funding accounted for $18.7 billion (95 percent of all funding) in the second quarter of 2000, according to the Money Tree Venture Capital Survey, released today by PricewaterhouseCoopers. Venture capitalists kicked in nearly $20 billion in total funds. A look at the growth:
