An item in this space Aug. 16 incorrectly cited the poet Robert Frost as observing, "Good fences make good neighbors." In fact, the line from Frost's work "Mending Wall" quotes a fellow New Englander as arguing his belief in the need for a barrier between their properties that the poet did not share.
