Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

If you thought putting up your holiday decorations was time-con-suming, imagine how long it took the staff of Biltmore Estates in Asheville, N.C., to festoon 250 rooms. They decorated 65 Christmas trees and hung 10,750 feet of fresh garlands for a festival that con-tinues until Jan. 2.
