Unveiled in Milan: Chador chic?
The mavens of haute couture are famous for going over the top when parading designs that nobody expects will make the long leap from the runway to the street. They're meant to inspire.
But last week in Milan, at the fashion industry's fall/winter preview, a couple of collections seemed partly inspired by images from CNN. This ensemble, avec hood (evoking a hijab), comes from Stephan Janson. Another model wore a visor, from Voyage, stylishly unzipped to expose one eye. Would it play in Jalalabad?
