Clemens pursues 300 wins, but strikes out with fans

New York Yankees pitcher Roger Clemens is one win shy of his 300th victory - a feat achieved by only 20 others in Major League Baseball history. But that hasn't helped him in the image department. According to Marketing Evaluations/TvQ Inc., which rates the marketability of celebrities, Clemens is the least likable among 11 current selected star players in a survey of 2,000 Americans. The outcome:

1. Sammy Sosa, Chicago Cubs
2. Ken Griffey Jr., Cincinnati Reds
3. Randy Johnson, Arizona Diamondbacks
4. Derek Jeter, Yankees
5. Greg Maddux, Atlanta Braves
6. Barry Bonds, San Francisco Giants
7. Mike Piazza, New York Mets
8. Chipper Jones, Braves
9. Tom Glavine, Mets
10. Alex Rodriguez, Texas Rangers
11. Roger Clemens, Yankees - Boston Globe Online
