Music channel picks top 10 tunes of the quarter-century

Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit," which drew international attention to the Seattle-based grunge music scene, tops a list by music video channel VH1 of the top 100 songs of the past 25 years. No single artist or group dominated the rankings, although several - such as Michael Jackson, Eminem, the Police, and Madonna - had two mentions. VH1's top 10 recent hits, and who performed them:
