Tubegazing: Little Einstens

Little Einsteins (Disney Channel, May 6, 8 a.m. ET) Disney's hit freshman show "Little Einsteins" celebrates its ratings success with the under-5 crowd. Saturday, the Disney Channel airs a new episode of this charming combination of art, music, and the natural world, called "The Incredible Shrinking Adventure." The concept is simple: Four hyperverbal toddlers toodle around the globe in a "smart" rocket, introducing preschoolers to the classics in art and music - Vivaldi's Four Seasons or Van Gogh's Sunflowers. They throw in a science lesson or two, as well. The background animation is lush and elegant, and simple story lines encourage the children to sing and dance along. Grade: A
